"My Moleskine is called style file # 1 and in it I tried to investigate the typical and also stereotypical styles of milanese people. The approach was to build a style book about the true style of milanese people but also to picture in an ironic approach the stereotypes, that I as a foreigner have towards the milanese style. For my research I used magazines, pictures and webblogs that picture the so called „street style" of a city. As I am myself always searching for new silhouettes, new combinations I personalized my moleskine as a tool to be used by creatives to create new combinations and forms. By dividing all the sheets in three parts, top body part, lower body part, feet (shoes) I created a flip and combine book as used by children. With this you can create hundreds of variations. My approach towards this project was of a very enjoying, fun and also ironic nature, to accessorize the styles in a personal way I created with the sticker sheet in the back a small collection of "cool" accessories to stick on the chosen style."
